Hi I lost my bookmarks when I unthinkingly uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox for Android without backing up the bookmarks. Can they be recovered. I am running Firefox version 27.0 on a galaxy S4 on android 4.3. Thanks

Hi lisa.kulp,

Unfortunately when you uninstall an android app the files associated with the app are removed. The file in which the profile is stored though, to check if it is still there is in this folder: file should be in /data/data/org.mozilla.firefox/files/mozilla/

Please also see a previous solution if you enable debugging mode you can also add https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../949785 the folder to a new profile if need be.

Thanks for this fast response. There is no /data/data/ folder on the phone. I've checked and did not find a /data. The /sdcard/data folder, the /storage/sdcard0/data /storage /emulated /extSdCard have a folder called searchbdimage and that has a file called no media.

I think the /dsta/data/org etc is for the desktop version of Firefox.

Thanks again, Lisa
