Is your old computer still running? You can migrate your bookmarks by creating a "backup" file and "restoring" it on the new computer. I put these in quotes to distinguish from the older "export" and "import" procedures, which would be the backup plan.

Also... if you literally mean Favorites, like IE Favorites, you can copy the entire Favorites folder from your old user profile to your new user profile. Or do a similar export/import process (IE File menu).

Windows XP:

  • C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

Windows Vista and later:

  • C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

Note that the "AppData" folder in Windows Vista and later Window 7+ versions and the "Application Data" folder in XP/Win2K are hidden folders.
