My notifications tray has changes. I no longer have the battery life icon in the tray. I also wan t the traditional firefox view instead of the google chrome view I have now. Today, got the update for Mozilla firefox 29.0 --not a fan right now.

Hey there,

I'm sorry to hear that you don't like the new look. By and large, people like it a lot better, but we know that that's not true for everyone, so we made sure that it's possible to customize things in such a way to restore the old look. To do that, you can install this addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/

Regarding the battery icon: Firefox doesn't modify the notifications tray, so it's quite likely that your icon was hidden for other reasons. Windows automatically hides icons that it thinks are rarely used, so you might find it by clicking on a left-facing arrow button to the left of the tray. If it is in fact in that hidden section, you can, I think, right-click on it and mark it as always-displayed.

hope that helps, till
