I installed addons, status-4-evar and aniweather 0.8.40 with the intent of placing the weather functions in the status bar such as I had set up with the earlier firefox version using the now defunct status bar, and the no longer functional forecastfox 2.2.2. The weather program is acceptable and has the ability to place functions in the status bar, but instead those functions only go to the menu bar. How can I permanently place the forecast functions in the status bar?

You can probably set in the Options/Preferences of the aniweather extension where you want the info to appear, so check that out.

  • Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions

Current releases do not have the Add-on bar bar, so the default might be to put it on the menu bar.
