i am about to start jumping up & down.
now i'm just waiting for the adobe site to stop being weird & let me update to 16.
hopefully tomorrow all will be good.
when i went to click on the download i got this Unknown Publisher.
everything seems to be ok til i got there.
When ever you see that message box, look at the program listed. If you know the program is okay, press the Run button. This is a Windows alert. And a lot of times, it does its job tooooo well.
so i should click run b/c i'm about to click it. & see what happens. crosses fingers.
i got the link from here so i trust it.
wait i changed my mind.

i know its a holiday but, i'm sorry i have to BUMP this. shows are starting to come back from their mid season finales.
should i try installing adobe again.
Yes, just follow the normal instructions. As long as you get a program from someone that it trusted, there should be no install problem.

ok i don't know what i'm doing wrong.
i downloaded it, double clicked on it, clicked save. clicked yes to make changes. but it stops at step two.
i know i'm supposed to be close out of firefox to let it complete.
when i tried to click on the download again i got the executable file again.
Open the Downloads Manager <Control> J
Find the file. Right click and select run / launch the file.
there is no run
even when i get this box there is no run only save
i did it as a link, the pic won't upload
Open the Download Manager, right click and select Open Folder. Then run the program.
I doubled click. i know its in run, but its not doing anything. i tried to run as admin but it says only one thing could run at a time
should firefox be closed.
i still haven't got this box.
Lets do this from the beginning;
Download the full installer (if you already have it, continue on) Open the folder where the installer is located. Close ALL OTHER PROGRAMS ! Now run the installer.
ok Fred i think we're making progress. i'm getting further than i've ever been.
i googled why there was no run button in the downloads, i guess they had got rid of it.
i installed an extension to get it back. everything is looking good til i got a gray box that i can't close out of.
Fred my love come back. :(
My ears are burning, is someone talking about me?
That box is the installer, and I said to Close All Other Programs.
ok i think i know what the problem is now. i have a Windows 64-bit. (first time seeing this box)
there is an option- Need Flash Player for a different computer?
do i click it?
i can't seem to get past after i click yes for the adobe changes. the installer box doesn't even show anymore.
everything is closed out.
i found this (scroll to the bottom)
i just want this to be over, its been 2 weeks.
i am so sorry Fred & everyone else.
When you access those type of install pages, it reads the current information from the computer and the browser. Then it displays the program(s) for that combination. If you were to access the same site using a different setup, that setup would be displayed.
Follow the prompts on screen, and the instructions I gave you.
