Use AT&T as internet provider - no longer can get mail on Thunderbird. Need settings for At&T, not yahoo.
Thunderbird worked for well over a year, and then this morning it wouldn't download emails. Asked for a password. So far as I know I don't have a Thunderbird password. Looking at server settings showed Yahoo as the server. I don't use Yahoo. Don't know how it got there. I have At&T as my internet provider. I tried setting up Thunderbird with ATT as my server... Server name: mail.att.net My email address is cbel101@att.net. I set connection security to none. I tried port 100 (default was 110), but this didn't work. (I sent several test messages to my email address: cbel101@att.net None came through. I would really appreciate a full set of settings instructions. Thank you

just a note.... Yahoo is ATT's subcontract mail provider. I understand they are shuffling the deck chairs on the titanic again at ATT. Not sure if this newest mail system will fix their appalling mail history, but for their customers sake I hope so. Two years of bungling is what I have watched from this forum.
