i get my emails 135 look at them log out and log back on they are gone????

for some time now when loading new emails it lists them. But if I close down Thunderbird and go back to my account all the emails are gone. On a similar note our samsung tablet only receives some emails,? not all of them.


Are they actually gone or can I get these back? There are emails I am waiting for and I would not like to miss them, There are not a lot of emails being held in any folders and when I open the archive tab its empty? Please please any help would be awesome.

In order for us to better investigate this issue you need to add a little more non-personal information.

Please add the troubleshooting information to your post To find the Troubleshooting information:

  • Open Help (or click on three-line-icon and select Help)
  • Choose Troubleshooting Information
  • Use the button Copy to clipboard to select all. Do not check box "Include account names"!
  • Paste this in your post.

Please also add the result of these troubleshooting steps to your post

  • Does Thunderbird work in TB Safe mode (see Thunderbird Safe Mode)?
  • Do you use anti-virus and firewall software? What is the version?
  • Who is the email provider?
  • Who is the internet provider?
  • What is the exact error message?
  • What steps did you take right before this happened?

Go to View-Folders and make sure it is set to All and not Unread.

As for the tablet, are you using POP or IMAP email? What protocol are the tablet and the computer set for? If POP are they set to leave messages on the server?
