None of the previously-used security and authentication settings work with T-38. For my ISP, Port 25 has no security and no authentication, so T-38 works from my home computer.

However, Port 25 only works and is only allowed from within my ISP's network.

Coming in from outside the ISP's network requires security and/or authentication. Therefore, I cannot use T-38 on my laptop, with which I travel.

Needless to say, I will not be upgrading to T-38 on my laptop or any other computers.

Please advise when this issue is fixed and I will test on my home computer.

and what makes you think it does not work. I use TLS with Google without issue. Could it be that the server security is basically obsolete? There is some people with problems following the fix for the logjam vulnerability.
