I want the actual email address to be displayed in the inbox, not the text name the user gave it. Many scammers now use fake names such as Walgreens Rewards.

In the inbox, the text associated with an email address is displayed which can sometimes be very misleading. For example, the address below is from an actual email I received.

Macy's Star Rewards <macysstarrewards@producedaiops.racing>

In my inbox, Thunderbird displays "Macy's Star Rewards". Guess what, this email is not from Macy's, it is from a spammer who knows how to manipulate email addresses! I want the option of seeing the actual email address "macysstarrewards@producedaiops.racing", not the free text associated with it.

Thanks, Flybeaux

I have used this add-on:

in the past, but it doesn't appear to be under active maintenance. It may be worth a try.
