I submitted a crash help request a moment ago and forgot to add the crash report id. It is ID: 9996eac7-2f89-4e4b-a899-5c1712151102

I was the one having a problem with crashing on futurelearn.com. I don't know where to start with this. Again, I will click on a link on the page, and the browser crashes. This is the only site I have this much of a problem with.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

You can check for issues caused by plugins and set plugins to "Ask to Activate" on the "Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Plugins" page.

  • plugins are not affected by Firefox Safe Mode

You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:

My daughter dealt with this for me and she did mention the first suggestion as something she did. Never referenced the other two, but something seems to have worked. No browser crashes so far with that problem site. Thank you!
