Microsoft Silverlight will/can send information about people and info about their computer. What are Firefox plans to protect its community users from this?

After reading Microsoft's Privacy Statement in regards to their Silverlight 5, it has disturbing information about the loss of one's privacy, under "Collection and Use of Information......",of both personal information and information about my computer! In addition, this information can be stored outside of the United States! (paragraph 4 under "Collection and Use of Information......"). As part of the FireFox community, what other options do we have?

P.S. I clicked "Shared Data" about my Firefox Browser, what does all data mean? Any Good or bad I should know about?

hello 010matrix010, firefox won't execute silverlight content on websites by default, but only when a user explicitly activates the plug-in through the icon in the adress-bar or a click on the embedded content. in addition support for plugins like silverlight in the browser is going to be phased out at the end of next year: https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2015/10/08/npapi-plugins-in-firefox/
