Recently updated to Thunderbird 45. Find when forwarding e-mails having embedded images, that when sent they are all converted to ascii text/ machine code.

I have Windows 7 Pro operating system on PC. Thunderbird 45 has changed way e-mails are forwarded. Can't forward mirror image of e-mail received it is apparently converted to machine code/ ASCII text, Receiving e-mail address thus confused when opening and no embedded images received that were in original. This has not occurred when using previous versions.

It's not something simple like forwarding as plain text an email that was originally received as HTML, is it? Have you checked your composition settings? Another common source of 'odd/different behaviour after an update' is an old add-on interfering with the new version. Try closing and restarting Thunderbird in safe mode to see if that changes anything.
