Older Verizon acct emails are not visible or accessible...How do I check to see if all my Vmails migrated to TBird?

Older emails from other emails accounts, e.g., Yahoo, are both visible and accessible...but not my older Verizon emails. Short of forwarding each old Verizon email to myself [so it would show up in the Verizon "inbox" on Thunderbird], I can't figure out how to move my older Verizon emails into Thunderbird. Can someone kindly help?

Verizon - Pop or IMAP mail account?

If Pop then Thunderbird can only access the server Inbox. So if emails are in other folders on the server then you need to: logon to webmail account using a browser move emails from folder into the Inbox In Thunderbird select the mail account click on 'Get Messages'
