I use Thunderbird on two computers. Can I sync my remote content settings across devices so I don't have to change them email by email on both machines?

Theoretically it is possible, if both computers accessed the same Thunderbird Profile through a network, but people trying to do that have had many problems with such a setup.

An alternative is to copy those settings (the file called "permissions.sqlite"), from computer 1 to computer 2, but then those settings on computer 2 would be exactly the same as computer 1, losing the additions you had on computer 2.

Thank you Mark. I was hoping for a more automatic sync based on my profile. I use Thunderbird to manage multiple personal email accounts on my home and work computer. I use Outlook on my work computer for my business emails, and just use Thunderbird at work and home for my personal emails. I know Firefox and Lastpass can sync settings and even history between computers. I was hoping there was something similar to manage email content settings.

My name is Bruce, not Mark.

Sorry, there is no sync for Thunderbird like there is for Firefox.

Sorry Bruce. Someone in the office was talking about a Mark as I was typing that.
