After a force reboot of the system, the list of all my passwords was cleaned up. Bookmarks are OK. I saw the logins.json.corrupted file in my profile folder. Any ideas how to return them or repair this logins.json.corrupt file?

Notice that: - This problem is repeated every few months for me and Mozilla have no solution for that!!! - I do not have any backup files(Mozilla profile, logins.json , key3.db and etc)... - There is no 'Previous version ' in file properties... - window restore doesn't solve problem...

thanks.

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.

If you have another logins.json and matching key3.db files somewhere, you can copy them to the folder with the bad files.

If there are no other files available, you may need to remove the old files.

Let us know if there are no copies available before removing the old.

Did you check the file in a text editor or open the file in a Firefox tab to see in what way the file is corrupted (null bytes or other binary data)?

You can check in Windows Explorer if there is a previous version of the logins.json file available. You may have to restore a matching (same date) copy of key3.db as well.

File is 400kb but in text editor and scratchpad is empty with null characters...

I said there is no such option in properties for 'previous Versions'...please first read Question!

which information? :| logins.json.corrupted is empty... There is no files somewhere...

Why Mozilla experts can't solve this problem, so this file will not be corrupted? It's funny...

I have lost my password files several times. But I use backup add-ons, so I recovered the files with no effort.

If the logins file is empty, and there are no backups, you have no choice but to remove the key3.db and logins.json files to start over.

On the login page of each website, use the Forgot Password link to send a new password to your email registered with that site.

These can't get your data back, but will help in the future.

These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/febe/ FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension)

FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backups of files that you choose.
