When you startup Firefox first thing it does is call for your Profile, Then it loads Firefox as to how you have managed settings and extensions and, and, and.

Nothing to do with signing into anything, It is the way it works.

uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.1 with a Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

If still a issue make a new Profile.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Help ? --> Troubleshooting Information Page and take a look in the Accessibility section if accessibility is set to "true" there. if yes, go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Options --> Privacy & Security panel and under Permissions check the setting to Prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser. Restart Firefox

No, Accessibility was set to false. I also checked the Prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser, but still the same problem. I have not signed into Firefox so this cannot be a profile issue.

Hi Pkshadow, Thanks for your info. I just installed the older version (56.x) of the firefox, updated that and now the firefox magically works. I don't understand what changes that I made caused Firefox to work.
