My Download speed tops out at 500kbs but I get 120mbs, how can I fix this?
Any time I download a file on Firefox it wont download faster than 500kbs but when I do a speed test I get 120mbs and when I download on steam i get 110-120mbs. How can I get my download speed quicker than 500kbs?

This download manager works separately from the browser. The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.

It can depend on where you are downloading from as some sites may throttle on what download speed you get in downloading the file depending on loads and if it is a guest vs say by a logged in account.
