I have not been able to opt out of several of the advertising sites. On the NIA site it says that Java Script has to be loaded. Any ideas how to opt out of these advertising in the firefox browser?

Do you intentionally disable JavaScript using an extension such as NoScript or uMatrix? If not, JavaScript is probably running normally.

If you completely disable JavaScript, numerous sites appear completely blank, others are incomplete, and many tell you that you need to enable JavaScript. It's not subtle!

Firefox's Tracking Protection feature, and add-ons that block trackers or ads, may selectively affect what scripts run on a site. However, you might prefer to place your trust in those features/add-ons rather than in the advertisers.
