firefox download speed is really slow
every time I try to download something the download speed doesn't go above 3.5mb/s and was wondering if there is anyway for me to get it higher.

ISP speeds don't determine your download speed. That is based on the location and bandwidth of where the file is downloaded from - that's what determines your download speed. This is the myth alot of people forget faster ISP doesn't equal faster ISP download. There are two sides here and everyone forgets the other side.
This download manager works separately from the browser. The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.
