OK, so I want to archive ONE BOOKMARK folder. Text, html, I don't care. I know I can export ALL the bookmarks, and with some trouble, I can clip out the folder I want out of that big file, but surely there is a better way. If I "Show All Bookmarks", then open the folder, and select everything in it (names and URLs), and copy, what I've copied is JUST the URLs! The names don't come with the copy. Why is that???

I want an archive of the names and URLs from ONE FOLDER. What's the trick?

The names do come as text/html flavor on the clipboard, but text/unicode only has the URL. This means that you need to paste this in an HTML capable editor.

This is a copy/paste of the history item of this web page as text/html:

OK, thanks. I did that pasteup in SeaMonkey, and Indeed I get a list of links, where the URL is attached to the name. That works well.

Although, when I do that, the separate bookmarks are all on the same line. Is there some way to paste them that would arrange them in separate rows, like I see them in the "Show All Bookmarks" display?

Maybe check the page source because new lines are used and not the
HTML element. You would need a "white-space: pre-wrap;" CSS rule.
