A while back, I accidentally clicked on "always block" in the popup when I received a notice of a potential cross-site script attack for a frequently visited site. Since then, whenever the site comes up in a search and i click on it, Firefox will not open it. Instead, I need to right-click, copy link, and paste in the address bar. I have tried to find information on how to undo this, but have been unsuccessful. Is there a list somewhere of blocked sites that I can unblock? Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Do you have a content blocking extension installed that could cause this ?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Thanks for your response. I thought this was a firefox feature, but after reading your suggestion that it could be an extension issue, I realized it was probably caused by NoScript. Under the NoScript options I was able to clear the XSS block list and the non-functioning site seems to be functioning again. Thanks!
