Hi all . . .

Mac desktop 21.5 2017 12.0.1

here's a bug

twice now

Chase.com: Firefox updates toggle the "new / unrecognized device" detour to login.

So, OK I get the latest updates as soon as they become available 90.4.1

The past two (this and one previous) cause a detour / extra steps to log into chase dot com.

BIG PITA

the work around is to use Safari . . .

hey guys, is this not 'coding'??

IMHO

Thanks

Usually that indicates that a cookie previously set by the site was deleted. Firefox does not routinely delete cookies with each update, so I do not know why that is happening to you.

Do you use a regular tab to visit the Chase site, or do you use a Container tab or other special arrangement?

Other earlier Firefox updates were fine, Chase dot com was unaffected. All other websites, OK. Never use any special browser options. All login's have not changed in any way.

What's going to happen at the next Firefox update??

Hard to know. However, I use Chase 2-4 days a week and it's been fine for me all year (no 2FA required yet).

I have an cookie exception set; you could do that if you think it might help. On the Preferences page, Privacy & Security panel, Cookies and Site Data section, click the "Manage Exceptions..." button. Type chase.com and click Allow. Firefox should create an entry like https://chase.com in the list. Then save changes.
