I'm running 91.7.0 on Linux. Desktop new mail notifications always disappear after 5 seconds — regardless of the duration configured in TBird.

I've tested the desktop notification system with other applications, and desktop notification duration is working fine. It appears that Thunderbird is ignoring my configured notification duration and is either

  1. Always sending a value of 5s no matter what I configure.
  2. Not sending a duration to the desktop notification system at all (the default duration is 5s).

Again, other applications besides TBird don't have this problem: user configured notification durations work fine.

Thunderbird is not sending a notification duration at all — even though one is configured.
