results per page
Please advice how I can change number of results per page from 10 to 100. In the past it was a simple slider but it is gone now?

Search results? More detail please.
If I place in Google search for example word "Alabama", I am getting only 10 results on page. What I need to do to get 100 results on page?
You can use a bookmark like this to set the number to 100.
Not a browser issue, see this. https://support.google.com/websearch/thread/231024342/how-to-change-results-per-page?hl=en

Like wrote above, you can no longer select this in the Google preferences, you need to add the num parameter.

So, every time I am doing new search I need to add this "number option"now ? I am doing dozens of searches per day - so, every time I have to add this option to the new search? It looks to like a kind of absurd to me. Probably I still do not understand well what I should do - could you please re-explain again (?)
You can use a keyword bookmark (e.g. 'g') with the link I posted above. This allows to specify extra parameters like the 'to be searched' time frame: &tbs=qdr:y2 or &tbs=qdr:m6 (tbs=qdr:h|d|w|m|y)
I am having a curious problem with this.
I have a button on my bookmark toolbar which takes me to Google Advanced Search.
To get the 100 results, I've set it to : http://www.google.co.uk/advanced_search?hl=en&num=100
When I click on it, it appears in the address field and takes me to the UK advanced google search. But when I enter my search term and click return to get the results, only 10 are returned. If I type the same string directly into the search bar, instead of using the button, click it and enter the search term it returns 100 results. But I don't want to have to type it in to the address bar every time. I can't work out why using the button doesn't return 100 results.
If you type in the search bar on the Google website then you always get the default search query. There is no way to get more results apart from using a bookmark like I wrote above or adding the &num=100 parameter, what possibly can be done via a (keyword) bookmarklet.
javascript:void(location.href=location.href+'&num=100');
There might also be a Google Search engine available on the Mycroft Project website that has the NUM parameter.
