Tried to update, error messages unable to use Firefox - Entry point not found and more - does not function

The Firefox browser does not function now. I thought I had to update, got an error - Couldn't load xpcom and an entry point error, I have no clue what to do.

firefox is my default browser' i use Win 11 never had an issue before with Firefox *Email hidden for privacy*

It sounds like the update files did not download all the way. That they became incomplete. It can happen if the internet connection gets disrupted.

Please try reinstalling Firefox, it will update any files that became damaged. You don't need to uninstall Firefox.

Download Firefox from here and open this file to reinstall Firefox: https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-latest-ssl&os=win64&lang=en-US
