When I use Firefox for the first time after booting my computer, it works all right but then if I close Firefox for a while I can't open it again; I must reboot my computer. Firefox works Ok once but not twice.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== I can't remember

I have the same problem. After I open it once, it won't open again. It also won't open links in a new page. It will open them in a tab. Please help!

Thank you edmeister. Sorry English isn't my mother tongue, I'm not sure I undertood on the page "Hang_at_exit". It seems to me that Avast antivirus I'm using can cause this "Hang_at_exit" problem 1) *only* on Windows Vista and 2) *only* if ZoneAlarm is installed on the same computer. Am I right ? Thank you for additional explanation Friendly regards Pierre

Good morning, Thank you edmeister, the cause of the "Hang on exit" problem was my switching to the "Sunset on the Ocean" theme. After I switched back to the default theme the problem disappeared. Have a fine day. Pierre
