Firefox Just Reported v5 Update available but cannot verify integrity, but site shows only v4.0.1.
Update Notification Window Popped Up Stating v5 Update Available. Tried Updating but failed with message "unable to verify integrity, go to site to update manually" Going to site only show v4.0.1 available? Is this a hack?

Firefox 5 is currently in beta. You can download the beta here .
The release version of Firefox 5 is planned for June 21.

@alan_r: It might be, but the text said the update was strongly recommended due to security reasons..
Can't see where original question says "strongly recommended due to security reasons".
It could be that, if it's an update from an early Fx4beta, but my original answer said "possibly" and this one wouldn't be as strong as that.
Anyway I see no need to go to Fx5 just yet.
@alan_r: RPCP is not refering to the wording in my original question. RPCP is refering to the wording that appears in the update popup notice from Firefox.
