When a site tries to use a pop-up, Firefox will notify you and ask whether to show it. If you choose "always show" then pop-up blocking will be disabled for that site.
If you previously chose "always show" or "never show" and you want to change your choice later, you can press the Menu button on your tablet and choose "Site options" to tell Firefox to forget the previous setting.
