Now this morning after a windows update we're back to no scrolling in Firefox and Thunderbird!

Are you using a mouse (Wireless, wired) or the pad on a laptop? What was installed on the windows update?

This is wireless, using a pad. It seems to come and go. Now I have it back. The same thing happened yesterday, before the update. Gone this morning,, and then suddenly working this afternoon. The strangest thing. I don't know how to tell what the update involved, since it was automatic. When I lose scrolling in Thunderbird, I lose it in Firefox.

You can find out what was installed by going to the start menu and searching for "Windows Update" and selecting it.

Beside updates were installed, is the last time an update was done and a hyperlink with "View Update History" - with that you can figure out what was installed.
