Different home page
Whenever I go onto Firefox, I end up getting THIS ugly search engine and home page. Any ideas on what it is or how to get rid of it?

I tried changing the search and the home page in preferences but when I quit Firefox and come back on, it goes back to that abomination.

Sound's like you've got a browser hijack virus. Do a google search based on the site that comes up, or take it into a shop to be serviced by professionals.
Do you have the Default Tab extension or another extension with 'default' in the name?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
