Password manager doesn't save state of checkbox next to login box
OK, next to all login forms have basic "username" and "password" fields. A lot of them also has "remember me on this machine" (or more, "login me anonyously" for example). I'm comming from Opera, where it's password manager (wand) had brilliant feature of remembering, besides username and password, also state of the checkboxes (if they differ from default), which was very handy because I didn't have to check it every time I was logged out. And not checking it causes often prompt to login (vicious circle!).
Bottomline - is there a way to make Firefox save state of those fields?

That data is usually saved in a Cookie for the individual website. Don't clear your cookies for those websites.
Thanks for the reply but it doesn't solve my problem.
Again. I'm aware how most auth works, I'm aware that if I select the checkbox (or not) the cookie will be saved with the value, etc.
The problem at hand is a bit different. So we have a login form: username [ ] password [ ] remember me [ ]
Now, we enter username, password, and check "remember me" (because it's off by default on that website). In Firefox only username and password would be saved and next time I encouter the form I would have to manually select 'remember me' and then use password manager to fill out username and password.
In Opera, in contrast, also the changed state of the 'remember me' checkbox would be saved in browser in password manager, so clicking wand button (to fill out the form) would automatically fill username and password field AND also automatically select 'remember me' checkbox (I wouldn't need to click on it manually).
I know it's a small thing, but given the ammount of login forms having to select it quite often can be annoying (especially if one got used to the fact, that it was stored in browser and selection on the checkbox was done automatically by the browser).
