Instead of opening a text file on browser beforehand then can't read it anywhere else when I don't have a connection, I can't find a way to just download it, save it on my phone, and read it later. Which really sucks. Reading mode doesn't help if I can't access text files with other program.

Wow, the addon's exactly what I'm looking for and it works beautifully. Thanks a lot! Still, it makes me wonder why something so basic as this didn't get added into the browser already...I mean even my desktop Firefox has this lol

I have marked Diego Victor's reply as the solution, after amending the link to a general one.

You should also have an option to save the webpage as a .pdf , but maybe that is overkill.

Did you try; yourself; to mark the post as solved whilst signed in to the forum ?
I ask as I recall someone recently saying they tried but could not do that.

To john99: I was(am) using the mobile version of this site and I didn't find an option of it.

It is an option usually expected on Android phones and available from Firefox itself. It is not something that is site dependent.

Firefox should be able to save webpages as pdf s on phones. (But Not on Desktop etc computers, at least not without add-ons.)
