Hi,

I have an issue watching videos, I can watch Youtube and Vimeo vids, but when it comes to news site such as BBC, CNN Global News, and most other sites with videos... their videos won't play. I checked on Chrome and Safari on the same computer and they work great.

The most common error message that appears is:

"Oops! Something went wrong. Please check your internet connection or try reloading the video. Otherwise, check out one of these related videos:"

I looked over your forum and tried all the solutions and none of them worked for me.

I'm using Firefox Ver. 30.0 on an iMac, plus I have the latest flash update installed.

I tried re-starting Firefox in "Safe Mode" and this did not work.

Try to disable IPv6 (check for other possible causes as well).

Nope that didn't work

Make sure that the Flash player is used and not the HTML5 media player.

You can right-click the player to check this. In case of Flash you get the Flash player context menu.

I checked and Flash and the Adobe Flash Player Settings, they are already checked. I did notice an error message when right clicking on a BBC News video, here is what it said when I clicked on it.

Error code : 3024 Severity : critical Description : All net connections failed Responsibility : Application
