My password logs me into e-mail okay but when I log out it says in red "Username or password incorrect" & e-m provider says Firefox causes that???

How can the Username or password be incorrect when I'm leaving after it has lets me in the door by giving that Username and password? I gave the provider the name for the e-m address; they set up the account; I chose the password. But I get this red message any time I leave. E-m provider says "change your browser". I don't want to do that. Hope you can help. I changed my password within their system, but still the same: I can get in, but when I leave the red error message appears.

This happens after you log out, and the site returns you to the login page?

If you had Firefox save your login for the site at some point in the past, you may want to delete that in the Options dialog. This article has the steps for that: Password manager - Remember, delete, change and import saved passwords in Firefox (section entitled Viewing and Deleting Passwords).

Otherwise, it's hard to imagine why the site would think you were trying to log in.
