Need code for my website which will change the name of the Tab (which says something else) to the name of my URL/domain name

I have a website which I am developing. However the Tab at the top where all the open websites are displayed does not show my website (domain name). It has a different name (the slogan of an affiliate company).

I was informed that I could get a "code" from the search engine I use (firefox) to insert into the back office of my website which would change the tab name to reflect my domain name.

Can you help?

The web page title is defined by the <title> tag.

Do you mean the page title or the URL that you see in the location/address bar that links to the hosting company and not to a domain that you have reserved?

In case of the latter you would have to contact the hosting company if there are redirecting you.
