Is sync a peer-to-peer or a cloud? Where's the info actually kept?

Just a reality check on Sync. If peer-to-peer on my local intranet, great, if another cloud, using your servers, I can't use it :-) Thanks

Chosen solution

Mozilla maintains a battery of servers that sit in the middle of the Sync process, which sits between your devices.

You can host your own Sync server - https://docs.services.mozilla.com/howtos/run-sync-1.5.html
