How do I get to my spam folder?

more options

We have recently had a problem with something going into a "spam" folder that we needed to receive. We were told to "look in our spam folder for it", and I don't know how to get to a "spam" folder. I read one of the articles about creating a "junk" folder which I have just done....Is "junk" the same as "spam" in Thunderbird?

Thanks for your help.

No junk is not the same as spam. That is how Thunderbird distinguishes what it classes as Junk from what your email provider or other software determine as Spam.

If you do not create any Junk controls in Thunderbird, any message that it thinks is Junk gets a junk icon placed beside it and it goes into your Inbox with the rest of your email.

You probably need to log into your account at your email providers web mail page and see what they have for a spam folder and what is in it.
