Yahoo Mail to be exact, but on MyYahoo too. Every time I load my email my CPU usage jumps to 30-50% and the fan starts working overtime. It's the flash ads Yahoo is using. Any suggestions?

Hi, you could try an Add-on such as Adblock Plus - it does remove all the ads on Yahoo mail for me.

FYI: I've noticed that Yahoo mail seems to have been loading very slowly for the last couple of days.

Install the above program.

It could be the work of one of your add-ons, or even add / mal-ware.

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>)<Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Remove Yahoo anything.

Also, check the programs that are on your computer

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.

Remove Yahoo anything. After, reboot the computer.
