I have set up individual data folders for my two email accounts so that I can back them up easily and would like to setup one file/folder outside of the Thunderbird application for my address book. There are settings to save email to separate files/folders but I don't find a way to get the address book out of the application folder and into my data folders. Is there any way to get the address book into any but the default folder?

Thunderbird does not store user information in the application folder. All user information is stored in the Thunderbird profile. It is recommended to backup the entire profile. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb
