When I Load website like gumtree and perform internal search there, I can't reedit the text forms of that search. The same happend on Ikea website. I have checked it on IE and it works there perfectly. I have tried to run firefox on safe mode, but the issue is still the same. I have switched of acceleration, but problem stil't l there.

i.e. try to edit search field on gumtre on this link: http://www.gumtree.com/search?responsive=true&sort=date&page=1&search_location=London&search_category=all&distance=15&q=Mario&search_scope=true&refine=

I can't edit it properly. Only way is to add characters before the text, but I can't delete it or edit inicial text.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Since this is happening in more than one site it is possible to temporarily disable this setting: Control whether Firefox automatically fills in forms

In both the searches there is an auto complete javascript script running as you type that might affect it, but it would only delay if there was a performance shortage.
