Chosen solution

usually it means you have a mail provider that has no idea how to manage SSL. Check exactly what server the certificate is for. The common cause is the provider uses a www certificate for their mail server.

As long as the server it is for is something you believe is your mail provider, you can override it. Otherwise contact them with the error and ask for them to correct their SSL certificates.
