I have had FireFlox slowness in loading (not once it is loaded) for a few months. Chrome and IE are not slow in loading. Refeshing does not help. Why?

Firefox is slow to load initially. It has been slow like this for months. But once it is loaded there are no speed problems. This time I chose refresh and it got to the place where is said, 'Almost done' and the bar was green all the way. It stayed that why for over five minutes. I am having no problems with other browsers.
