ever since I updated to version 39 now I can not open my water bill website (PAWC) MyH2o , before this version it worked fine, it comes back secure connection failed, I tried safe mode, refresh Firefox, and new install of Firefox version 39 , but Water Fox version 38.1.0 works OK, IE works OK, Google Chrome works OK, I contacted the water company and they don't know how to fix it, not sure what to try next , I am attaching two pictures of what I get every time I try to open the water company website.

hi rigger202, if you receive the error code ssl_error_weak_server_ephemeral_dh_key when accessing the site, this means that the webserver you're trying to reach is vulnerable to the recently published logjam attack and therefore firefox won't connect: http://arstechnica.com/security/2015/05/https-crippling-attack-threatens-tens-of-thousands-of-web-and-mail-servers/

please report that to webmaster of the site in question to fix that issue...

hi, firefox goes a bit further than other browsers (which stop at blocking 512bit primes/DHE) and blocks 768bit connections as well, since they are considered of being in reach of being breakable as well - this is the case at this site as well. can you try contacting american water's support once more and pointing them to external server audits like https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=wss.amwater.com - hopefully this can convince them...

otherwise please report the site at https://webcompat.com/ - maybe mozilla can try some outreach to that company.
