Every once in a while, Thunderbird loses a folder. The most recent is a folder named "Invoices". Needless to say, it was important. I would like to know why this is happening and what I can do to retrieve it. The one before that was my credit card statements. The one before that I can't remember what it was. This seems to happen about once a year or so.

is there a reference to a file called invoices somewhere in your anti virus logs? Often when a folder goes missing the anti virus has deleted it.
