I quite often need to send specific emails at a time that I am not available. This may be because I have finished work early but wish to send my input so that it is received after the time of a meeting. I use Thunderbird, but most email systems have a procedure for scheduling email to be sent at some future time. Can you tell me how this is achieved in Thunderbird . I can find no reference to it in the system notes.

Look for an addon called, oddly enough, Send Later.

I just installed this add-on, tested ok, we will see how it goes. Found it a bit confusing at first, but then I'm the kind of guy that puts it together and then reads the instructions. Good support on the developers Blog and I have included a link here to assist in getting the Icons on your toolbar.

Hope this has been of help! Link to Blog describing install and help
