Firefox 45.0.1 on Mac OS 10.7.5 is nothing but TROUBLE. Slow loading, stalls; have to Force Quit often. Ran the Firefox clean-up, but no improvement. Want to return to previous version. Is this possible? How do I do it?

Please note that if you are using an out-dated version of Firefox, you are at risk of some security holes. Please excerise caution if you decide to revert to a previous version.

You can find every version of Firefox ever released can be found on Mozilla's FTP server.

Your user information should remain intact if you download and run the installer, although it's a good idea to backup your Firefox profile before installing the older version of Firefox. For more information on backing up your Firefox profile, please refer to this Mozilla support article:
