While archiving Thunderbird gives all the time not enough disk space I searched information, increased the cache. Checked files, nothing is more than 3GB It is still doing archives but it is scary to have this message appearing every minute. I have enough disk space. What is this space Thunderbird is talking about?

Chosen solution

Might just be the space is temporarily unavailable. Some background task on the operating system, indexing or anti virus activity may be locking the file and causing a space issue. I would suggest you start be disabling your anti virus from scanning files in your Thunderbird profile folder and see if that might be the cause.
