I have an old laptop that runs Win XP x32 with some bookmarks and opened tabs that I like to transfer to another laptop that runs Win 7 x64. I would like the newer machine to have the same opened tabs and bookmarks. What's the best way of doing it? Thanks!

Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.

Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

This is your current profile. Copy the folder As Is to a folder on a thumb drive. Then Copy the folder to the new system.

By the way, there is a little more work to do on the new system after you copy over the folder. You either can selectively move a couple of files from your old profile folder into the new one created by the Firefox installer, or you can do a wholesale transplant of files.
