I am trying to insert text for address headers to make a signature template.The text doesn't stay fixed and moves as I insert other sections of the header,so have inserted it in a table .Now I want to remove the gridlines of the table. How do I do this?

You open the table properties and set the border width to zero. The question is how to access the table properties? I can't remember and I don't have Thunderbird here to check for myself.

I think that if you place the cursor in the table and go to the menu, you should find an entry for the table. Try under Tools or Format. Or maybe right-click the table.
