My question is that I want to be able to open Firefox to a new tab with all of my previous pages on it as shortcuts. Very much like if I open a new tab and bam there are all of my previous pages there ready to be clicked. Every add-on I find makes my home page a new tab...it's the opposite of what I want.

The internal address of the new tab page is

about:newtab

which is the key information you need to know to make it your home page using the steps in either of these articles:

Note: there's no http: or slashes on that, it's just about:newtab

Does that work for you?
